I have a proven track record of steady leadership in the face of daunting challenges (like guiding the Superior Chamber of Commerce through COVID, the Marshall Fire, and hiring new Executive Directors during my time as the Chamber Board President).
I’m also exceptionally organized, an avid networker, extremely hardworking, and diligently consider issues from every angle before making an informed decision.

Superior is One Community made up of several different parts (Original Town, Sagamore, Rock Creek, and our new Downtown, just to name a few). And, each presents its own opportunities and challenges. As a trustee serving our entire community, one of my top priorities is to sit down with members of each area to learn more about what I can do to help them individually.
In addition, I feel our community is at a crossroads between the Marshall Fire recovery and the continued development of Downtown Superior. I think it’s important to, first and foremost, support our residents that are still recovering from the fire. Then, ensure that the development of Downtown and beyond is done so thoughtfully and with a focus not only on the residents who will live there, but also on the town’s overall economic health and environmental impact.
We must also prioritize supporting our local businesses that have been hard hit after the pandemic and the Marshall Fire shortly thereafter. While a record number of funds were raised to assist residents with their losses in the fire, businesses have received little to no funding and are struggling to recover as a result.
Finally, as someone who enjoys efficiency and organization, I love exploring areas for improvement within how the board and meetings are run to help streamline processes and ensure time is used productively.

I think it’s extremely important to consider how we impact the environment and put in place strategies to reduce our carbon footprint. As trustee, I support measures that protect our open space, reduce water consumption, utilize solar energy, and move away from fossil fuels (assuming those measures don’t put an unnecessary financial burden on our residents).
A bit about me.
Background.
I moved to Superior almost 20 years ago after graduating from CU Boulder with a degree in Advertising & Marketing. I bought my first home in the Saddlebrook condos before slowly making my way up the hill from house to house in Rock Creek. I’ve loved this community for as long as I can remember and can’t imagine living anywhere else.
Professionally, I’m the VP of Private Banking at a local institution where I specialize in residential construction lending (which has helped me to be a resource for neighbors navigating the tricky rebuild process).
Community Involvement.
I’ve been an active member of the Superior Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years. There, I served on the Board of Directors for 9 years, most recently as the Board President, before term limits necessitated my departure in July 2022.
I also sit on Avista Hospital’s Community Partnership Committee and sat on their Women’s Council prior to that.
In addition, I love developing free events that bring people together while supporting local businesses. So, I’ve organized and run an annual Small Business Expo, Non-Profit Expo, Community Carnival, Photos with Santa and the Easter Bunny, and a Marshall Fire Recovery Expo.

In My Free Time.
My passions include travel, photography, and outdoor adventures (which is why I love living in Colorado!) On weekends, you can usually find me paddleboarding, hiking, or heading out for quick trip to a new locale. I also nerd out over any type of organizational project, love watching re-runs of Schitts Creek, and never met a carb I didn’t like.

My Goals.
As a Superior Trustee, my goal is to help our community move forward with thoughtful leadership that focuses on strengthening local businesses, finding ways to diversify revenue, supporting residents in the Marshall Fire recovery effort, and streamlining workflow efficiencies.
